Candles provide the finishing touches to any gathering or occasion. Whether candles warm a room for decoration, or whether their light enlivens a social gathering, their mood setting capabilities are undeniable. Candles have provided light for centuries, brightening homes and rooms of all shapes and sizes. However, candles might be becoming outdated due to the hazards involved in their use. Candles are incredibly dangerous, especially for families with small children and pets. One slight, careless touch may knock a candle over, igniting a fire that engulfs an entire house in flames. Moreover, traditional candles are messy, and cleanup is rigorous, since the wax stains tablecloths and furniture alike. Yet, the soft, radiance of candlelight is undeniable. And, no gathering is complete without the incandescence of candles. However, traditional candles may have recently met their match.

Battery operated candles impart all the same favorable qualities of traditional candles. These LED candles lack all of the negative qualities of real candles as well. Battery operated candles obviously lack wax and heat, so cleanup is a breeze. LED candles also have timers, so they may be turned on and off automatically. Battery operated candles festively light windows safely during the holidays as well. The differences between traditional candles and battery operated candles in appearance is unrecognizable, and LED candles supply the same soft, radiant glow illuminated by real candles. Clearly, battery operated candles are more favorable than real candles given their safety, lack of mess, and their mood setting capabilities.
